WHO AM I?
My name is Daria Gavrilova. I am a multimedia journalist, educator and public speaker.
I have written in Russian, English and Spanish about the many complexities of the world. I have told in Russian about Catalonia, and in Catalan about Russia. I have written about sustainability, feminism and food.
Eventually I have written a full book about the Catalan capital: What is Barcelona? Beaches. Independence. Jamón. At the moment the book is only available in Russian.
In 2022 I moved from text to multimedia: I launched my first podcast (in Russian) and started working with TV3, the biggest Catalan television channel.
Journalism is my profession, but communication specialist is a better term to encompass everything I do: I teach, record podcasts, give public talks and lectures, lead walks around the city, and even perform stand-up comedy.
Wherever you are, you have found your way to my website - and I am very happy to see you!
